Building a Weekly Chart Routine That Sticks
Consistency beats intensity. A ninety-minute Sunday routine keeps your watchlist honest without burning the weekend.
Technical skill fades when review becomes irregular. The traders who improve after our clinics are rarely the ones who binge tutorials — they are the ones who keep a fixed weekly pass.
Block ninety minutes on Sunday afternoon Queensland time. First thirty minutes: update weekly structure on your core five names. Next thirty: scan for pattern candidates without entering. Final thirty: write one sentence per open position covering thesis and invalidation.
Weekend Pattern Clinic attendees receive a printable routine card. Several have told us the card sits on the desk more than the workbook — and that is fine. A short ritual beats an unread binder.
If ninety minutes feels long, start with forty-five and protect the slot. The market will still be there on Monday; your notes need to arrive with you.
