This notice explains how Data Engineers Hub handles personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect
We collect name, email address, phone number when provided, course preferences, messages you send through forms, and basic technical logs needed to operate the website. For enrolled students we may also hold attendance notes and homework submissions you choose to share.
Purpose
We use this information to answer enquiries, manage enrolments, deliver courses, send practical course updates, and improve classroom materials. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Enquiry messages are kept up to twenty-four months unless a longer period is needed for an active enrolment dispute. Student enrolment records are retained for seven years for accounting and consumer-law purposes. You may request deletion of marketing notes where no legal retention duty applies.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or lodge a complaint. Contact hello@dataengineershub.digital. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
International transfers
Email and hosting providers may process data in Australia or overseas. Where overseas processing occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients handle information consistently with Australian Privacy Principles.
