Refunds & rescheduling
Rules for cohort courses, weekend clinics, labs, and private chart coaching offered by Data Engineers Hub.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to course tuition and coaching fees paid directly to Data Engineers Hub. They do not apply to third-party costs such as your broker fees or internet connection.
Timeframe for cooling-off
For cohort courses (Chart Structure Intensive and Volume & Momentum Lab), you may cancel for a full refund within seven days of paying a deposit, provided the first session is more than fourteen days away.
Full or partial refunds
Cancellations received fourteen or more days before the first session receive a full refund minus any non-refundable materials already printed for you. Cancellations between thirteen and seven days before the first session receive a fifty percent refund of tuition paid. Cancellations inside seven days are not refundable unless we cancel the cohort.
Weekend Pattern Clinic
Clinic seats may be cancelled for a full refund up to ten days before the Saturday workshop. Inside ten days, seats may be transferred to a later clinic once, or forfeited.
Private chart coaching
Coaching sessions may be rescheduled once with at least forty-eight hours’ notice. Cancellations inside forty-eight hours, or no-shows, forfeit the session fee. Four-session blocks follow the same notice rule per session.
Non-refundable items
Printed workbooks already produced for a named student, courier fees already incurred, and completed private sessions are non-refundable.
Work already started
Once a cohort has begun, tuition for remaining weeks is not refunded if you withdraw, except where Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise or where we cancel remaining sessions.
Deposits
Deposits secure a seat. They are applied to tuition. Deposits become non-refundable after the seven-day cooling-off window when the first session is within fourteen days.
If we cancel
If Data Engineers Hub cancels a cohort or clinic, you may transfer to the next intake or receive a full refund of amounts paid for the cancelled offering, including deposit.
Refund process & method
Email hello@dataengineershub.digital with your name, course, and payment reference. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten business days of approval.
Purchased materials
Digital workbook files remain available to enrolled students for the course duration. Physical workbooks already shipped are not returnable for hygiene and annotation reasons; their production cost may be deducted as noted above.
Exceptions
Serious illness or bereavement documented in writing may allow a transfer to a later cohort without the usual timing penalties, at our discretion and without creating a general precedent.
